I have been sailing dinghies competitively all of my life. Was a member of State Youth Team and competed in national competitions. Have recent experience in keel boat offshore cruising, with close to 300 Nm including night watch. Looking to log more hours in order to cruise the world. Love to cook, and work on boats. I run my own architecture practice when not sailing.

I am a member of Port Melbourne Yacht Club and sail Lasers at club races. I dream of sailing to far away places, experiencing what the elements can throw at me. I am drawn to the sea and would like to experience it. I have more time now that my wife and I are empty nesters, and I seek a new challenge as I plan on retirement. I am keen to learn, through listening, observation and reflection. Where this leads is open. Have recently completed passage from Melbourne to King Island including two nights sailing. No sea sickness to date.
