Good for sailers

I’ve recently used your platform to explore opportunities in the yachting industry, and I find it incredibly convenient and professional. The free registration, search, and profile listing, along with the QuickFind™ tool for matching, make it a valuable resource. I also appreciate the privacy features, which add a sense of security.

However, I believe the platform’s usability could be improved, particularly in the job search functionality. It would be much easier to find relevant opportunities if you added more specific filters, such as location-based options (e.g., filtering jobs by region, like the Mediterranean or Caribbean). Additional filters for vessel types, experience levels, or job duration would also help users narrow down listings more effectively.

I’d also suggest enhancing the mobile experience with a more intuitive interface and push notifications for new job matches in a user’s specified area. This would be especially helpful for crew members who are often on the move.

Overall, your platform is fantastic, and with these improvements, it could become even more user-friendly for those in the yachting industry.

Find a Crew has helped me many times over the last 20 years finding capable crew.

Very professional and down to Earth, as is characteristic of most Australians. Number one is the web page programming. Clean, concise, intuitive and impaired vision compliant. No infantile color contrasts that defeat my 4K dark screen settings. No predatory subscription tactics. Concise and useful content. My favorite online service.

The platform seems very interesting, I'm learning how to use it now but I found it very intuitive and safe to evaluate and connect with crew and boats. I hope it works, that I can connect and live adventures on board. I'm glad there's a way to start contact for free so I can get to know the tool, and I hope in the future it's feasible for me to pay for Premium use.

I find it very difficult to find something suitable. I cannot filter by destinations (where boats plan on heading) or by port (where they leave from) or by date.....

I think the price for premium is high but overall its a great page

In the months of July and August 2024 I was sailing around the Greek islands with Dundar and his catamaran. It was an unforgettable experience for me, my first contact with Find a Crew, which makes me want to continue sailing and sharing experiences with the people I meet on my travels.

I knew many sailors over Find a Crew and sailed together some even for long passage from Turkey to Spain, all Mediterranean Sea..

I met already some crew, the problem is not your service I think you're doing I very good job. It's more the profiles are not very accurate and some just want to have a cheap vacation on a sailing boat.

The app is very complicated, many parameters and data to manage. Possibly Artificial Intelligence could help to have an easy process

Buongiorno. Il vostro punto debole e' la confusione tra richieste imbarco a pagamento e alla pari. Trovo che il sistema dei pallini colorati faccia un po' di confusione. A mio avviso sarebbe meglio tenere separate le due richieste. Da una parte quelle alla pari, dall'altra quelle a pagamento.

I am a PIV member, and from my membership until now, I have not experienced any negativity from either FindaCrew or its members or the members I have met. I will continue to be a member and meet with members who have the qualities I am looking for. I have not been able to get results from the only people I have met for my dream of a world tour, and when things got serious they all moved away.

Seriously love this platform, it's the best I've come across. Safety is a true concern when venturing out into the big blue and this site helps us validate the people and boats we entrust with our shared safety. Thank you for making this opportunity possible. Great format and way to connect with other boaties

It would be nice to have find a crew require a bit more profile info and a face picture of crew applicants. Fully half the recommended crew profiles sent to my page are totally useless because the information is left blank and one gets no indication of who we are looking at.

Good: Easy scroll for large quantities of applicants...
Bad: So many inconsistencies in your app...
