Nice to meet you, I'm Francesca, a 25yo skipper from Italy !

I am currently looking for a Captain position in the charter industry, although I’m open to consider other options.
Ideally, I’d like to work at a base where both my teammate and I can work as skippers on different boats, but I’m happy to consider the possibility of working as a captain and chef team on the same boat with Matteo if that’s the case. Both of us are available worldwide from now.

For the last few years I have worked, for some time individually and other times as a team with Matteo, in both private vessels and charters. I have quite a bit of experience in sailing, both in coastal waters and offshore, having logged more than 20’000 nm and sailed across the Atlantic in 3 different occasions and routes.

My most recent experiences have been sailing and managing a classic Sangermani 60 around the Med and, before all of that, managing an Amel 50 from its handover in France to sailing her across the Atlantic and throughout the Caribbean.

I speak fluently 4 languages: English, Spanish, French and Italian, and I've been studying Economics and Management at university. I'm passionate about most water sports and I have licences in both scuba and free diving.
I have very strong social skills, I’m quite adaptive and I truly enjoy meeting new people everyday.
Together with Matteo, we’re both very passionate about cooking and we both have previous work experience in the hospitality industry. A few years ago I’ve worked as cook in restaurants and behind the bar in a couple of bars, where I’ve learnt to mix the most common cocktails.

I have a very strong passion for the seas and for most water sports - I'm Advanced OWD PADI and I'm progressing with the courses to become Divemaster. I really enjoy scuba, but I have to admit I'm even more into free diving!
I also enjoy trekking, mountain biking and most outdoor activities - including, of course, sailing !
