Hello Everyone,
I am taking some time off of school and work and I am interested in gaining experience in boating to see if this could work as a career option, a hobby, or simply an experience. I will be relocating to Denmark for the Summer from June 10 to September 7. After that I will be in Turkey, Serbia, and other countries. Seeing that I currently have the US passport, I will be limited in where I can live and work. However, I am curious to see what options there still are around the world. I won't be tied down to any specific location, so I am open to considering many different areas around the world.
I am not sure if this will be important, but I have experience in teaching English and childcare. I have worked in teaching English for 5 years and I was a camp counselor for two summers for children aged 8-12. I am a fair cook if needed! And I know how to keep clean.
A bit about me personally: I was working in journalism for VOA Learning English for the past four years. I have a degree in international relations and I enjoy learning about other cultures. I enjoy good food, drinks, and good conversations. I am a friendly and easy to talk to person. I am pretty social, so if you are looking for someone to remain silent, that is not me. But I also believe in not disturbing the peace. It is all a fine balance!
I would ideally like to find someone who is interested in taking me under their wing and teaching me. I am fine to help whenever, even if that just includes keeping someone company or putting me to work where you need. I am open to paid and unpaid positions. However, to gain experience, I would like to smaller commitments.
