my name is Michael, a 23 year old German who decided to leave his secure job as draftsman in mechanical engineering after 4 years and wanted to try out the yachting industry. After 6 months in it I fell in love and now I am seeking my next adventure where I can gain more skills and learn a lot.

Surrounded by the forests at home I grew up with a lot of outdoor activities such as mountainbiking, hiking and camping. Later on my passion for the gym grew and now I am hitting it on a daily basis. But also skiing, swimming, kajaking and fishing are things I realy enjoy doing.
In general I am open to try everything out at least and my future plans include doing a diving license.
Another interest of mine is F1 and a goal is to attend to a race in the future, ideally with a boat docked in the port.
I eat healthy and protein focused but I have some weaknesses such as a good pizza or ice creams.
Animals tend to like me and I can build a good connection very fast to them, same goes for children.
One of my dreams is to see dolphins out in the nature, be it swimming next to the boat or just with them in the ocean.

As my current boat is in the finishing stages to go out for seatrials, for me to stay on it, it is required to have a Yachtmaster qualification. Unfortunatley I dont hold the necessary seamiles and seatime, so I am seeking a job opportunity where I can get that and at the same time improve my skills and learn a lot as Deckhand to progress in this industry.
