Hi!
I'm fairly new to the seafaring industry and I'm open to a wide variety of experiences.

Currently I'm taking dinghy sail lessons in Palma while looking for day and delivery work. Anything that will get me experience and allow me to learn more!

I'd love to find a captain or crew that can help train me up, simply put I'm hardworking and I believe I'm more than capable to learning what is needed of me. I'll work longer and harder than most as I'm fully committed to this new life I've started.

Currently I'm a fully qualified Deckhand who's searching for experience. Recently I completely both the AEC1 and AEC2 courses as I believed knowing more about a vessels systems is critical.

Professionally I'm committed and focused on all tasks given to me. If there is hard work to do, I'll do with with a smile and get on with it.

Personally in downtime I'm very relaxed and easy going. I love have a laugh over a beer or having long conversations during a hike or bike ride. Keeping moving is always great for mind, body and spirit. But knowing when to take a break is always useful.

As a person I'm extremely sociable, if you talk to me I will always respond enthusiastically and engage. However I also understand needing to take time and recharge so never feel pressured to engage.
I like my personal space clean and neat, just for efficiency, so I won't be making a mess in common or private spaces. Always happy to help clean as were all on the same team and I'd never accept being a burden of any kind.

The idea of staying in an office for the rest of my life honestly scared me half to death so I ran towards travel once I'd made a plan to leave the UK.

Being in and around water is where I'm best suited. Keeping moving keeps me alert and happy.

My short term plan is to gain as much valuable experience as possible.

I'm curious and adventurous by nature so I welcome all new challenges and opportunities.

Currently I've had a variety experience as a Deckhand which is something I will continue to do professionally while I gain valuable experience.

Longer term I want to become a chase boat Captain, obviously it's a long road between now and then but I'm excited to learn and put in the work. I like to dream big with a healthy dose of realism.

This is a long term career for me, I want to be working on other captains vessels for some years and make my way up the ranks learning about everything along the way. All experience is valuable and any challenges will only help me learn so I'll gladly accept them all. Thereafter I hope to captain my own vessel, set my own journeys and help others who are in my current position.
