I have recently completed RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper courses (January 2025) and also have RYA level 2 dinghy sailing and power boat driving certificates and have raced Javelin dinghys for a couple of years on a UK lake in the past. In 2015 I crewed on a 52 ft yacht in the Caribbean for a couple of weeks and I piloted a cabin cruiser for a week on inland waters with my wife, who has no boating experience, in August 2024. I enjoy sea based activities such as sailing, windsurfing, surfing, paddle boarding, snorkelling, scuba diving and fishing. I enjoy travelling and have volunteered recently in Bali helping to build an artificial reef, making reef structures on land and deploying them whilst diving. I would love to do more sailing in the UK or abroad. I am flexible on locations. I don’t have set places I want to go or would like to avoid but flight prices would be a factor, i.e. I probably couldn’t afford long haul flights to and from two different locations.
