Dear Shipmates
Introduction
After working as an Automotive engineer for 30 years I recently retired.
Together with my wife I am considering buying our own boat. It will likely be a cruising catamaran, because we'll be taking it easy. 🌴
In the meantime, I cannot ignore the explorer in me, and I like to get some offshore miles under my belt. I bring significant coastal sailing experience and a great love of the sea. I have logged over 10k nm in different places (Med, Baltic, North Sea, Atlantic, Pacific NW, etc.)
I like avoiding the beaten track, prefer quiet anchorages over busy marinas and love to explore over and under water (PADI certified) as well as on land.
