Hello, dear shipmates!

I've been sailing on and off since I first got on a dinghy as a child. It's always felt like a truly amazing experience, to sail a vessel.
End of last year I completed a day skipper course in Gibraltar. And I am now going to do my coastal skipper theory.

I am currently working in a restaurant, with my contract ending end of April. After that I would very much like to find a ship to sail on for an extended period of time. I really want to learn the ropes and become an able sailor so one day I can be a confident skipper.

I've been a bit of a wanderer and a dreamer all my life. I've lived in a few places across the world, but I've spent the best part of the last decade back home in Belgium. Now I feel I want to get out there again and reclaim some adventure in my life. Soon I will be free to move around and ad to my sailing adventures! I want to learn from an able skipper so I can one day be confident in sailing by myself, or be of real value as crew on another ship. I want to discover what living and working on a boat means and make a living as a sailor.
