Hi, I am Mati. After training as a mountain guide in Bolivia I am gradually went up South America with the aim of sailing in the Caribbean from November and returning to Europe for the April-May 2025 season. I hope to continue my sailing trip from Dominican Republic. I can join on any island between DR and Guadeloupe.

I grew up by the Mediterranean Sea, in France. I fixed a Dufour 29 in Toulon during two month, and have a litle sailing experience (1200NM). I am sociable and passionate about sport, music and nature, I can cook good meals, do boat maintenance, stay on course, change tack, and share my good mood! I like vegetarian food, but I don't have any special diet :) I also speak French, English and Spanish.

Mon expérience:

Côtière:
- Navigation côtière entre Marseille et Cassis sur un 12m + sorties journée dans les alentours de Toulon
- Côte ouest de la Corse d'Ajaccio a Macinaggio sur un voilier de 8m
- Navigation journée en Bretagne sur un 6m à côté de Beg Meil

Hauturière:
- Navigation aller-retour entre Carthagène (Colombie) et les îles San Blas (Panama) sur un Vagabond de 15m (~600NM)
- Oranjestad (Aruba) - Puerto Bahía (Rep.D) sur un Koopmans 35ft steelboat (~500NM)

(et si je vous rejoins je vais aussi naviguer sur un 15m depuis Puerto Bahía tout Avril...)

Hi, I am Mati. I sailed in the mediteranean sea, I have the basic knowledge of sailing, I also cook, like to fish and play music :) Now I am looking for a boat that can help me to go from Colombia to Panama (or to Antillas) between September and March. My plan is to sail in the Carribean during this period then go back in Europe for next year (ap-june 2025). I also fixed a Dufour 29 in Toulon (France) during 2month (electricity, careening, ...).
I am a trekking guide and I also do a lot of mountain and climbing so I use to do physical activities and ropes manipulation. I am travelling since January 2024, I did a lot of different volunteering so I use (and I like) to live in community. I hope to see you soon ! Do not hesitate to contact me.
