I am looking for all and any sailing time to contribute to your happy crossing. I am particularly fond of open ocean sailing, the perfect meditative environment.
I am a very competent all around sailor, with many skills and much sea time. Perhaps most important, I stay cool under any and all circumstances.

I've had many "lives" from technical/rescue diver and marine engineer, to diving with an Orca (5 meters of extreme naughtiness), to researcher in physics and fisheries, as well as a 4 year world tour with my family (the first year and half on a 44 cat... sextant onboard :-). In other words, I am very manual as well as cerebral.
I take great pleasure in the aesthetics and the process of prevention/maintenance ...and sea time of course...."There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats" :-)
Without numbing you with a long list, I will add that my social circle considers me "a great chef"; I would say a damn good cook !!
