Hello, my name is Sven, I am 21 years old and based near Haarlem in the Netherlands. Over the past few years, I have built extensive experience in the sailing world, working as both a flotilla leader and skipper in the Mediterranean. I’ve had the privilege of leading flotillas, managing various yachts, and assisting guests in creating memorable voyages. Recently, I completed a delivery trip, sailing a vessel from Athens to Lanzarote and from Cabo Verde to St. Lucia, which gave me valuable insights into long-distance sailing and life at sea.

In November 2024, I earned my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certificate with a commercial endorsement. My training also includes the RYA First Aid course and BSC certification. Ass well i obtained the STCW Basic Safety Training. I am enthusiastic, adaptable, and motivated, always eager to learn from new challenges.

I am a non-smoker, enjoy an occasional drink, and thrive in the open sea, where I truly feel at home. My ultimate goal is to continue building my expertise and one day circumnavigate the globe.
