Always loved the sea and any activity around, on, or in the water.
Worked with organizing and running motorboat tours in the arctic waters of Disko Bay in Greenland and rescue boat competent in surf as a surf lifeguard in Denmark. Holding a certificate of proficiency in yachting aswell as a SRC certificate.
Generally passionate about watersports and can teach canoe, kayak and SUP on instructional level.
Fond of diving, free diving and swimming.
Have some experience with sailboats but would love to expand my knowledge on sails and mastering the wind.

I believe life is an adventure where we should strive towards new experiences. We have to contribute to society and work is obviously needed but I think it's important not to be locked in the "hamster wheel". I prefer to lower my expenses and find and do work that is meaningful and flexible so I have the option to live a life of adventure and passion.

I'm very fond of travelling and try to experience as many new places and cultures as possible. Backpacking is fun and all, but some of the most giving experiences are when you get the time to really get to know someone or some place. I believe sailing, especially for a longer period of time, is a way of getting close to the other crew members. Also it is a way of making the travel part of travelling a main priority. Boats also help you get to places where public transportation would never get you and you get the chance to really get off the beaten track.

Crewing on a boat is also a way of expanding my skills within a similar but still different field. I hold a diploma in outdoor education and I would love to develop some further skills in sailing.
