I have recently sailed from NZ to Tonga and across to Fiji, then back to NZ.
Over the last 5 years I done about 4,000nm. Coastal NZ NE coast mostly, and the recent trip to Pacific.
Left NZ in May 2023 and returned Oct 2023
I was fortunate to have experienced time on 3 different yachts. 63ft catamaran, 38ft monohull, 46 ft monohull.(all cutters)
The 1st 2 being arranged with friends and the last by answering a message for crew finding.
I was Fiji born, of NZ european parents and now live in NZ.
Prior to this, I had a half share in a 32ft Jim Young catamaran, (some alterations from original) and sailed the upper north island east coast for 3 summers and other weekends when wind permitted. Sold yacht about 3 years.

A circumnavigation of the globe would be awesome!!
My recent Pacific experience leaves me aware of the value of getting to know my prospective crew mates before I embark on a voyage. So I'd love to get to talking and meeting with you and meeting your yacht. If youre in NZ waters, maybe a day or 4 sailing in New Zealand over the summer as a way of becoming friends and crewmates would be a good option.

I'm generally healthy and well, however the day after getting home (huh!!!), I sustained an injury, and am on waiting list for minor surgery to resolve it.
I attempt to live a simple lifestyle, and also have the funds needed for getting out of a scrape.
I like getting to know the local people in the islands / countries I visit, rather than staying on board or only stopping at marinas or resorts.
Circumnavigation of the globe is a dream I'd love to fulfill with the right person. Be awesome to find a skipper, I can be best mate/ 1st mate to.
I'm learning an instrument. Enjoy reading, love sitting in a Cockpit feeling the Ocean move by.
Love to walk to the highest accessible peak in a bay just because it's there and I can. Always good to stretch the legs. Im Meyers-Briggs INFJ-A personality type.
Always keen to learn new ropes.
PLANS: Looks like Mother Earth rather than the Ocean, will be claiming my presence for a while. I am hoping to be ready to sail again for the 2024 Pacific season in May.
