I started sailing on Lake Superior (the largest lake in the world by surface area!) when I was 8 years old and started working as a small boat instructor at 15. I have seven years of teaching experience on small boats and was the Head Sailing Instructor in 2018 and 2019. My friends and I sail around the Apostle Islands every summer and I have also raced a few times with my friends on their 40 ft boat.

I absolutely love sailing and being on the water. I’m easy-going, adventurous, and love learning. I am fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. While I don’t have much ocean sailing experience, I am keen to gain some soon! It is my dream to sail an ocean crossing and eventually circumnavigate the globe by sea. I love being outdoors and on the water. I'm always my happiest self when I'm sailing and I am hoping to do some long term sailing, traveling the world and meeting amazing people along the way!

My oceangoing journeys started in 2024. So far I have lived and worked on a wooden catamaran on the hard undergoing a big refit, a twin masted catamaran in San Blas, and now I am working as crew/au pair/chef for a family on a monohull exploring the Caribbean and later the Pacific Ocean.
