Looking for any sailing connections in and around Berlin. Outside of Berlin, looking for a cruising get-away, delivery or coastal regattas throughout the year in any place that is fairly well reachable from here. Open to and experienced enough for longer passages and would like to tackle an Atlantic crossing in the near future.

Sailing experience: I have been an avid sailor since childhood, having sailed competitively on Optimists & 420s as well as on larger boats. In Berlin in season, I race a Banner 28 on a weekly basis. I got my ICC/ RYA Skipper license in 2020 and have the German equivelent in 2025 (SBF inland and coastal waters for motor and sail) and am very eager to gain more hands-on experience in blue water & coastal sailing.

Most recent coastal passages: 3 weeks sailing from San Blas Islands in Panama up the coast to Cartagena, Colombia. 3 weeks from Rio Dulce, Guatemala through Belize on a 38ft cat. From Cancun, Mexico we crossed 340nm through the Caribbean to the Cayman Islands on a 74 ft cat.

About me: After a year off traveling, I am now back working full time in Berlin as a consultant. Having lived, studied, worked, traveled and generally enjoyed life around the world, I would say I am quite easy going and easy to get along with. I love all activities around the water: sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, kayaks. When not close to the water, I often spend time outdoors on my bike and an occasional camping trip. I enjoy cooking and having a good time with friends.
