Introduction
Hi all, my name is Audrey and I’m a bit new to the world of boats and sailing but am eager to learn more by working on boats. I’ve completed the ASA 101-104 and am a certified skipper looking for more experience. I’m originally from Austin Texas but have been living / working a variety of jobs around the world for the past 10 years. My background is mostly in childcare, cooking, hospitality, service industry, and diving. I’m also interested in working any other positions that will help me learn about any aspect of boating really. My friends and I have a 38’ nab in the Caribbean that we had been living on and working on fixing for 3 months. She still needs some TLC but in the meantime I’m looking to work and learn more about sailing / boat maintenance.
I’m 27 and outgoing but pretty laid back. I am well traveled and interested in jobs in almost any part of the world. I’m passionate about seeing new places and learning new things to make a better sailor of me yet. It is my dream to someday live on and sail my own boat but still have a lot of learning to do. While I can be hard working and professional I love to have fun and hope to join a likeminded crew to enjoy some adventures and escapades with! I’m mostly here for the experiences as a whole. I’m currently traveling around Europe and would be keen to find a live on board situation anywhere here.
