Joining a ship to sail to Antarctica and then across to Namibia, disembarking in April. So will be looking to connect with a new boat and meet new people to sail with around then.

Permission to come aboard-

I've sailed all my life, grew up sailing sunfish and hobiecats. Started bareboat chartering about 17 years ago in the Caribbean on 40-60' cats and monohulls.
While in NY I've been sailing with a club on the Hudson River and in NY Harbor, 24 + 26' keelboats.
Did a 6 week south Atlantic crossing on a tall ship last year. And spent a couple months cruising the windward Caribbean Islands last winter. Sailed with a tall ship to easter island in April and then abaord a 15m yacht back to panama.

Most recently sailed Auckland to the Falklands, rounding Cape Horn aboard a tall ship.

Have ASA cert 104 and basic STCW.

Have worked in construction most of my life, mostly in electrical but also in other trades. So am handy and like fixing things, which it seems inevitable aboard with many systems that may stop working as desired.

Am interested in increasing my sailing knowledge on some coastal or ocean voyages, and hope to join you on your next trip!
