Hey there. I currently have a typical 9-5, working towards a future where I'll hopefully have my own ship to venture out on. I don't have a lot of experience sailing outside of short 1-2 day coastal trips, as well as sailing on smaller craft (sunfish/laser/catamarans), but I'm really aching to get my sea legs and am looking to join any trip or adventure in the Caribbean that will lead to more miles logged. Given my current employment, I'd only be able to go out for a few weeks at a time, which I hope will be enough time to start building up experience and miles, for now, at least.

I'm willing to fly out almost anywhere nearby in the Caribbean to embark, and also don't have a problem getting dropped off on a completely different island, so long as it has an airport on it :) Any trips that come back to Colombia are naturally a plus, and I'm positive you won't regret your stay here, either.

I served in the local navy, where, aside from being infused with a fascination for the ocean, during my brief time serving (only 2 years), I like to believe I managed to pick up all the basic disciplines of a good sailor. I really feel a calling for sailing, and I'm quite eager to learn anything that will add to my growing knowledge on the subject.

I do hope to one day own my own ship to sail around the world with, or at the very least, have enough knowledge of the sailing world to make a living off of it, ship or not.
