Ahoy Sailors, here a quite active and motivated fella, always amazed by the nature, and keen on doing more experience at sea on sailing boats. Currently working as a quant for a real estate fund in London, my background is wide and would keep up conversations for long! Did all my academic years in engineering, and I obtained a PhD in computational fluid dynamics. Then, entered the London workforce as a quant and learnt from incredible people modern tech development techniques that I am now implementing for my firm. Job and (boring) city aside, I am always down for a nice and challenging hike, and of course for sea time.

I have been boating since very young age as my parents have always loved it as well. On a regular base on Iseo lake, yearly at sea in the Mediterranean sea. Mostly motoring in the past, but a friend introduced me to the sailing world and I fell for it! In the recent years, I did a couple of weeks at sea on a sailing boat to enjoy while learning from a skipper instructor, often with rough conditions. Social member of the Brighton sailing club, with which I did some dinghy sailing for sometime not long ago.

I am based in London, but I am hoping to grow my sailing experience by travelling often to the coast of England/UK. I am keen on crewing for sometime as I am not familiar enough with the sea around the UK. I recently obtained the Italian coastal sailing licence, and after some experiences I'd like to skipper myself.

I'll be visiting the Caribbean soon and I'd be keen on doing some sailing experience there.
