I am enthusiastic about all kinds of water sports and enjoy learning new things or trying things out.
My sailboat experience so far is limited to a few trips on fresh water and a trip on the North Sea. However, I am a fast learner and plan to get my sailing license. I fish, dive (PADI open water) and already have the German sport boat license in preparation for the sailing license.
Back in Germany I worked as project manager for renewable energies. I am very interested in sustainability in all areas. Maybe that´s why sailing is such a fascinating topic for me.

Currently, my wife and I are traveling in New Zealand until end of April. At the middle of May we are starting a job in Auckland. In between there a few days left where we like to discover the NZ coast by boat.

At the beginning of July, we want to move on towards warmer regions of the world. Our final destination is Indonesia. But we also want to discover the Pacific islands, Australia and are open for other destinations - if possible by boat. We would like to combine this trip with learning more about sailing and the life and tasks on a sailboat to be ready for our own boat in the future.
