I am neat, organized, easy to get along with, have a sense of humor and do not use drugs/alcohol.
I have a professional level of competence and have done a number of delivery jobs across the Pacific.
I also am able to repair/maintain or make new installations on all manner of ship equipment.
Most yacht owners & captains really appreciate my willingness to do those things others prefer not to do: toilet repairs and the dusk to dawn watches.

As far as I am concerned, the most important aspect of crewing is that ALL persons aboard are well balanced emotionally (no dramas, no loud voices/angry tantrums), respond well to logic, reason and common sense; share equally in work and all have the same rations. I apologize for having to state this, as it should be a matter of normal behavior for civilized people … but I have had several experiences where the boat owner treated the crew like slaves to be verbally beaten frequently and fed only rice & noodles etc. Boats like that are always looking for new crew because their crew fled at the first landfall … and I would rather not find myself trapped on “Capt. Blye’s” boat again.

It is always best to speak first when making plans, so I would like to talk to you. I won’t have a cell phone for another week or so. Presently I have an iPad and use google meet (google duo).

My greatest value to a crew is my ability to fix virtually anything that breaks or stops working correctly ... I am a certified professional tradesman in addition to being an avid sailor.
