Hello all,

My name is Anthony and I'm looking to log some miles, see new places, make new friends and most importantly learn. I am from New York City and sail around the Long Island Sound regularly. My biggest sail and accomplishment to date is bringing my 30 foot Cape Dory home from Maryland to NYC, with myself being the only one with experience. I learned a lot on that trip. Currently learning how to use a sextant and navigate without electronics.
I'm an ex auto mechanic, current operating engineer that needs to know how everything works. Aside from sailing, I ride and race dirt bikes on weekends and travel as much as possible. Very slowly trying to learn the Italian language and hope to live their someday.
This is my first time on here and safety and being comfortable with strangers is the most important for me. Being I am highly mechanical I will have many question on the vessel and safety gear aboard.
I'm not very good with words or writing about myself. I'm serious when needed but mostly laughing at the little things in life. Lets sail!

Super clean and organized, I actually like washing dishes and cleaning things. I travel super light with just a backpack for most trips. I love learning but also love teaching what I have learned over the years. I work in a blue collar environment, I communicate clearly and acknowledge when communicated to. This makes a safe work/sail environment especially if things get a little dangerous.
