Hey! I'm Iris and I'd love to go sailing with you. In recent times, I haven't been on smaller boats that often, though I seek out experiences all the time. That meant crossing the Black Sea from Ukraine to Turkey in a cargo ferry and enjoying a day on Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan, unfortunately before sailing season opened.

I've dockwalked in various countries with varying success. The most memorable experience was hitchhiking a boat from Corfu in Greece to Valletta in Malta with a couple in 2015. Before that, I've hitchhiked quite some ferries and also a motorboat from Bar in Montenegro to Corfu in Greece and finally Athens.

I've also crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a repositioning cruise ship, which was boring but got the job done to arrive in South America. I'd like to experience a do-over one day by helping you sail your boat across the Atlantic in any direction.

My partner Jonas (German) and I travel fulltime and work remotely when ashore. I write on my blog and will document any sailing trip with colorful photographs and stories for posterity.
