Here is a short life story:

I was born into a sailing family, and used to sail/race dinghies (laser) when i was younger, however it has been many years since i last sailed. I became an auto mechanic after high school, but soon decided to go back to school to study mechanical engineering. While in college i did two seasons of commercial fishing in Alaska, where i realized how strongly i am drawn to the sea. After college i found work as a mechanical engineer, but after almost 3 years i am once again feeling the call of the sea. I have saved up enough money to buy my own yacht and i plan on doing so once i am able to simplify my life. At this point i am looking to take some time off work to get a taste for the cruising life and to gain knowledge in all aspects of sailing.

I would like to emphasize "buy my own boat one day", "good with maintenance", "respectful", and "easy going". i have been dreaming of buying my own boat now for many years, and have spent most of my life gathering applicable skills and knowledge, all i need to do now is learn to sail haha. i am also very non-confrontational,and get along well with everyone. As a commercial fisherman, i am well aware that a boat cannot have two captains, and im not the captain.
