During my last visit to Alter-do-Chão, Santarém, Pará, I tried to stay for a week on board... was not possible, but I was able to take sailing lessons. It's just amazing how we can use the forces of nature to take us wherever we want!

I don't have a romantic notion about sailing and appreciate the hard work involved.

I love being out on the water, snorkeling and being in remote locations. I am lucky to be born in Amazon and I take any opportunity I can to be in a wooden bungalow in forest and give up the shower for the bath in the river. I am adventure-loving, attentive to details, very handy with tools and organization, good with cooking. I appreciate technology at the same intensity I love antique things. I'm able to support myself along the way, however I'd like to remain as low cost as possible.

I have 25 years of background in tech and teaching engineering and computer classes. I am able to use advanced softwares for imaging since I work on medical image analysis and processing. I would be happy to share/apply my knowledge to navigation tools. If you want to learn to code (including code for kids, ages 5-9), Portuguese, or cooking, I can help.

I function best with clear instructions and in a more quiet life than in parties. I am not looking for romance or similar relationship.
