Sailing for over 25 years, whereof 15 years on sailing yachts of 24-77 ft, as crew and skipper.
RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail) 2016. Experience mainly in coastal sailing and ocean crossing (incl. a 700 nm passage across the South China Sea to the Philippines, and a crossing of the North Sea from Germany to the Orkney Islands). Have sailed the south coast of China, the west coast of Scotland, the Baltic Sea (Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Poland), Kiel Canal, the North Sea, and in Sydney, Australia.
Racing in yachts, sports boats, and dinghies of many kinds and sizes. Former team manager and member of local sailing team (in role of bowman).
12 years yacht owner (30 ft.), hence experienced in boat maintenance.

Sailing is my passion, and I enjoy being at sea and living onboard. I really like lying at anchor away from "civilization", living off the grid and being fully self-sufficient, but also appreciate a hot shower and good meal ashore in a marina once in a while. I try to live a healthy life, so I don't consume meat or alcohol and I don't smoke.
