All my life I have had an affinity with the sea. I have been blessed to live in some of the most stunning seaside locations. Every morning that I have walked the sea line at sunrise, I give thanks that I can connect to the magic that is our oceans and I am in awe of the vast richness of life that makes the seas their home.



Why I care

We are plundering and polluting the oceans on an industrial scale that will have a profound impact not only on the current generation but on all those who follow. The overall health and balance of the entire planet will be impacted. As an example, phytoplankton absorbs over 4x the amount of carbon dioxide as the Amazon rainforest and in return, they contribute up to 85% of the total oxygen that we breathe.

I want to actively make a difference through experiences, learning and raising awareness where ever I travel.

It is my hope in my lifetime we will see small but profound changes take place in our environment.
