Hey, my name is Sheldon. I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, USA.
During my years of traveling away from home, I’ve been truly inspired by the ocean!

I am an active duty United States Coast Guardsman.

I have completed my first transatlantic expedition in January 2022. (5000 nautical miles, Spain to Martinique.)

I am a certified open water scuba diver.

I am actively studying for the 100 ton license.

I served as a deckhand on commercial fishing vessels in Alaska.
Long lining, Tendering, Gil netting, Purse Seining experience. I am familiar with varying F/V ranging from 39’ to 140’.

Aboard experience: Cooking, cleaning, anchor watch, wheel watch, driving, mending net, etc..

I am a licensed skydiver. Experienced sailor under a parachute

I document my travels. I shoot with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus Drone, Lumix GH5 camera, and go pro. Experienced in editing videos using production software and can create well looking cinematic videos.
