I'm an avid self taught snowboarder, skier and surfer. A self taught guitarist of 10 years. I can speak basic conversational French and German. In UK college I studied A level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths but decided to go straight into work as a builder's apprentice, instead of going to University. Since 2016, every winter, I have worked in snow sports, construction and hospitality in the Austrian Alps. Between seasons I travel and work in different countries in different professions.

I gained my STCW-50 in 2023 along with other useful qualifications and traveled to Antibes, France to begin dock-walking the area looking for Deckhand work. I found day-work aboard a few Motor Yachts, I ended up in Portugal to start work aboard a Classic Sailing Schooner for 4 months, most of which was spent at anchor close to a very busy channel, I worked tirelessly to help restore and maintain this beautiful and MASSIVE ship. I was also in charge of our RIB and it's maintenance and had daily practice in choppy waters, surf and different moorings/ beach landings. I made repairs, kept watch, re positioned the vessel, dropped and weighed anchor many times, communicated with neighbours, ferried materials and personnel. Once ready, we traveled through the Gibraltar strait to a calm Marina. I decided after this ship was received in Spain to focus on gaining employment exclusively on sailing vessels. I wish to become part of a delivery crew, build miles, obtain my day skipper certificate and then move on to my Yachtmasters. Any sailing experience I can gain will be extremely valuable to me.
