Hi, this summer I got my ASA 101, 103, 104 and 105 (coastal navigation) certifications. I've been getting in a lot of sailing on a large lake just north of Atlanta and spent a week on the coast of Georgia/Florida in October. And I've gotten back into racing.

I raced a lot when I was in college mostly on a J30. My dad owned a marina in Pensacola, FL and we had a 28' S2 so I've been around boats a lot growing up but then spent many years not sailing much and missing it. Over the last few years I've spent a couple of weeks with a friends on their boats island hopping the Caribbean and fell in love with cruising. I'm learning to spearfish so I can occasionally help provide dinner where spearfishing is legal, and I'm decent at cooking it up.

I work as a consultant helping orgs and business thru change processes so my work has some seasonality to it and I can be a bit flexible with my schedule. I'm also an artist and I dance/DJ 5 Rhythms as a movement practice so I'm ready for an impromptu dance party. I'm fit and healthy, I do pilates every day. I'm an INFP/J if you know Myers Briggs so I prefer deep conversations over chitchat. I'm easy going and flexible. Solid in tense situations. And love to explore and have fun. I'm also a decent photographer.

I'm planning to take the certification courses and get some more experience until I feel confident as a skipper, and then get myself a boat. In the meantime, I'm looking for interesting and enjoyable people to sail with. I've done a lot of travel to many places in the world and want to do some slow travel by seeing new places by sail and meet interesting people along the way.
