I worked on commercial fishing boats during college, raced Hobie and Prindle cats for 12 years, and have taken ASA courses including intercoastal navigation. I have owned small sailboats continuously for 40 years, bareboat chartered in the Chesapeake and Bahamas, delivered a 47' mast-foil catamaran from Panama to Florida, and many other sailing ventures.
