I am Steffen (Steven) from Germany seeking for preferable a Skipper position but also willing to gain miles as a crew member.
My first profession was as Naval Aviator in the German Navy. Because every Naval Officer has to go through the complete Naval Training, no matter he will later fly or be onoard a vessel, he has to sail on the "Gorch Fock" and other vessels, which I did in 1994. I then gained more experience in Navigation during my Flight Training in the US Air Force an US Navy (including Astro-Nav). After 15 years of service I quit, worked as Sales & Marketing Manager, Technical Director, Quality Management Auditor, memeber of Managing Board and had my own business/Freelancer. During that time I sailed a lot on charter yachts and did delivery (e.g. Lagoon 52), then took the RYA courses and already sailed as a professional Skipper on crewed charter yachts (most likely catamarans in Croatia) as well as as doing sea trials for a local maritime company in Dubai, UAE.
Now I want to put more emphasize exactly on that part of my life, SAILING.
