Introduction
Semi-retired nurse looking for crewing opportunities in the South Pacific over our winter months.
I have crewed from Bali to Singapore via Borneo.
2022 crewed from NZ to Vanuatu, New Cal to Brisbane.
2024 sees me in Portugal and I'm looking to crew with relaxed sailing, swimming and snorkeling opportunities.
During NZ summer I'm up for day to weekly trips around the Hauraki Gulf or BOI.

2017 I crewed from Bali to Borneo to Belitung n up to Singapore.
I'm very much a crew member n looking to learn more but have no aspirations to captain a vessel.
The previous year I crewed for 3.5 weeks around the Whitsundays. Over summer crew I also crew on a Logan designed classic circa 1916, no fancy winches here!
I did a nifty canvas repair after a solar panel went through the Bimini in a squall in north Bali. Still intact and waterproof when I disembarked in Singapore.
I swim, snorkel, fish, read, yogi, bake, talk and knit, if it's not too hot!
I enjoy a drink with dinner but prefer to be on a boat that is dry when passage making. Smoking and anything else got left behind with my twenties.
For the past 20 years I have been gluten free and bring my own supplies which I happily share. If the oven works I bake cakes and scones n make pikelets etc.
I would be departing from NZ and doing my best to escape a few weeks of winter.....brrrr!
When back home I'm based in Auckland and available for upto a week. I love the Hauraki Gulf, Great Barrier and the Bay of Islands. Also up for exploring the Marlborough Sounds and Fiordland.
