I am currently engaged in a skippering position, that will run onto September.

I can offer you a competent skipper, with plenty of miles and good communication. A relaxing atmosphere on board, I have good knowledge of sail trim and boat performance. I have traveled extensively around the planet(not just sailing) and can bring an adventurous spirit to the boat. I have spent 5 seasons in the Med and know it quite well, including where to get services and have relationship with service providers in Malta and the Ionian.
This is my third year skippering 'Freya', an XP50, based in Malta. We take part in some ocean races and we also do cruising. I will be delivering the boat back to Ireland after our cruise in Greece and we get ready for Fastnet 2025.

I can provide references as you request, as it is important to find a skipper you can trust and rely on. I also have a good network of sailors back in Ireland and around the Med who would be happy to take part in deliveries to build miles.
My partner Jess, is potentially available if the right opportunity arose.

Also, it must be added that I have spent several years working as a chef and am pretty handy in a galley.
