Hi, I am a Yacht Master Ocean skipper who presently sail on lake Garda during the summer season and in the Caribbeans in the winter times. I have sailed both monohulls and catamarans up to 60 ft as skipper. In the Mediterranean sea I have sailed mostly in regattas as mainsail trimmer and co-skipper. I have also experience with basic boat maintainace and repairs (gelcoat, mast rigging, winches etc.). Experience also in boats management with a small fleet up to 45 ft loa. Currently working also as sailing instructor for beginners (laser, soling) and intermediate sailors (First 31.7, First 34.7, Salona 45). Decent experience as regatta instructor with soling, asso 99, 11 Meter One design (white waters only). A little experience also with windsurf and kitesurf equipment (my summertime job includes Hobbie Cat sailing, catamarans, sailing boats, windsurf, kitesurf and yachts rentals). I am also involved with companies incentives with sailing boats.
Learned to sail with Optimist when I was 8 and then with soling.
1995–2000 Sailed in Scotland (regattas only) with Sigma 33 ft (Scottish Nationals) Mainsail trimmer-Largs Yacht Club
2009 Croatia Coast Cup-Salona 37. Mainsail trimmer.
2010 Croatia Coast Cup-Bavaria 42 Match. Second Skipper.
2011–2012 co-skipper catamaran Orana 44 – Antigua&Barbuda –
Antigua,Anguilla,Antigua.
2013 skipper-Nautitech 47 Martinique, Grenadines, Martinique.
2014 Extreme Sail Academy (extremesailacademy.it) three courses: Apprentice; Master; Extreme Med all attended on a Class 40 (Calaluna). With the same boat I did the Palermo-Montecarlo race and the Rolex Middle Sea race.
2015 (January - March) Extreme Sail Academy concluded successfully the Discovery Route Record (from Cadiz to San Salvador - Bahamas) on board of Class 40 Calaluna
2015 May-November Captain on X512 sailing yacht.
I have lived for 14 years abroad (mostly in UK) therefore my English is fluent. I understand Spanish and French but I am not fluent in this language

My working experience inlcludes start up and management of branches for Italian companies abroad (both in the heating and food). I hold a scientific liceum diploma and a master in marketing & communications.
I have Yachtmaster Offshore & Ocean Certificate, ISAF certificate, RYA first aid certificate, RTF certificate (radio communications). After long years in the commercial business I have decided to make a job of my hobby (sailing). Since 2007 I have always worked on boats and still enjoy it as the first day. I love to travel and my plan is to visit as much as the world as possible while doing the job I love. I am personally engaged with Paola (my partner) and in the winter she join me on the boat to work as cook/hostess. We could also work as a team, she has 3 years of experience working on boats.
