Dear Shipmates
Introduction
I love the water. I began swimming before I learned to walk. I swam competitively and played water polo in high school as well as college. I scuba dive and free dive.
I grew up going on many boats on lakes, rivers, and the ocean. My dad got a sailboat when I was 15 and I started sailing to Catalina island with him. Two years ago I lived on a sailboat in the San Juan islands for a couple of weeks. Last year I lived on a sailboat in Hawaii for a couple weeks and sailed between islands. I sailed from Panama through the San Blas islands to Colombia and lived aboard for a month at the end of 2018.
I am currently bicycling across Europe from France to Romania in June/July 2019. I'm cycling with a group called the Green Riders we volunteer with sustainable projects along the route. Planting trees and gardens, cleaning up trash, and anything to assist the environment and people living there.
I love the ocean and have great respect for the beings in it. I did my open water scuba training in Thailand in 2017. I want to get my dive master and volunteer doing coral propagation with ocean quest global.
Currently working on a sailboat in the Italian islands until August 31st. Seeking paid gigs after.
Update: I'm now in California looking to sail. Maybe to Hawaii or other islands. Sailing sounds better than being quarentine in a house.
