Hi, I've been sailing almost all my life, though I am not a trained sailor I am very good following directions, good companion, good cook and have natural common sense on board. Lived aboard for 15 years, living on board is almost what I like the most about sailing.
I am good help for most positions, from sailing to hosting guests. I have great people skills, can easily communicate with everyone. I have leisure and working experience on sailboats and motor yachts, and work on the Uruguayan land logistics for international races stopovers as the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, Ocean Globe Race for the Yacht Club Punta del Este, city where I live.
I am well educated, well traveled seeking a position preferably in a Motor Yacht or sailboats. Looking forward working in a nice environment with a responsible but relaxed team. A position anywhere in Europe, US, Caribbean or wherever is summer while winter at home (Southern Hemisphere)!!!

I have sailed quite a bit and can't be far from the ocean for too long.
I am based half the year in Punta del Este, Uruguay where my house is and I run it as a guest house.
I don't like cold weather I head up north seeking the sun every year during the local winter, so I am always available during the northern hemispheres summer. I am looking for a paid (preferably) or unpaid position hosting/interacting with guests, giving a hand on deck, cooking or boat sitting, I have experience with kids on board.
I am a good cook but not professional or fast enough for huge groups though I can handle cooking for a small amount of people or be a cooks help. I do have experience cooking and preparing sandwiches at a London hotel for big groups on cooks days off.

Have no problem cleaning the outside of the boat and after my self but I Am NOT up for a cleaning position.

As sailing experience, my dad bought the first sailboat when I was 10, I've done the Rio de La Plata for several years, some Brazil, then the Caribean, Virgin Islands to Venezuela and Puerto Rico more than once, Around Galapagos, some USA, Greece, Spain and little of Italy/France, would love to do more but not to fool any one, I am not seeking to be an ocean crossing/ delivery sailor, I define myself as a leisure one and love to explore the places we pass through.
When not at sea I live by the ocean and I do lots of artwork, traditional and digital (see my link), and run a fun guest house in one of the nicest summer resorts in South America.

Whenever I am at sea in warm weather I feel happy. So I am motivated to work and do my best. I am addicted to traveling and visiting places and I have a strong sense of making people feel comfortable and assure they have a good time.
I enjoy beauty, peace and quiet, love to explore everything, everywhere and anywhere....as far it is not cold!
