Hello. My name is Jared and I love to sail. I am mainly looking to help out with charters in the San Juan Islands, Virgin Islands, and Bahamas. I have sailed and skippered many boats throughout my life up to 52 feet. I have lots of cruising and racing experience as well as many years of customer service training. I am a very happy, laid back person who loves people and adventure.

I am mainly looking to help cruising trips in the Pacific Northwest and the Caribbean including the San Juan Islands, US or British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Desolation sound, the BC coast, Puget Sound, ECT. I have experience sailing in these areas and understand the tides and the weather.

I was born and raised in the mountains, boating and sailing on large inland lakes. It was a great place to learn because the wind is constantly changing. I am a healthy 42 year old male who is a very hard worker, with an easy going attitude, who is always smiling, and always looking for a good adventure. During high school and college I worked as a golf caddie at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course. I graduated college with a business degree and have been successfully selling real estate for Century 21 in Coeur d'Alene, ID since. I now sail as much as possible, racing with my local yacht clubs and cruising on Lake CDA. I have done many costal cruising trips through the Northwest, the San Juan Islands, and the Caribbean. I have also owned many boats. I am a PADI and NAUI certified rescue diver, have been first aid certified, and have my ASA 101 – 105 sailing certificates. All of my ASA courses were taken in the Pacific NW in the San Juans. I can be available for weekend trips, up to a 14 day trip.
