Hi!

I’m an experienced sailor, trained in navigation and able to sail anything from my own 25 feet 80’s racer to 100 feet gaff rigs. I’m looking for a boat and a good crew to cross the Pacific in early 2025.

I have done one Atlantic crossing and have been across the Baltic and North Sea many times by sail. I have worked as a deck hand on a small expedition ship (not a sailing boat) on Svalbard and a leg though Russia.
I’m happy to work as first mate or deckhand, I just want to tag along! My focus is the journey by sail, to make good speed, a happy and safe ship, and to have fun!

My day job in Sweden is to make a podcast about international politics for a research institute. I love board games (and have too many of them), modular synthesizers (and have too many of them too) and dogs (I had two, but not anymore). I like to reed and write and hope that a crossing will give me some time to do those things.

I hope you are a responsible and knowledgeable sailor that care about your crew and values the social part of sailing and a shared adventure. If you have more experience than me I hope to learn from you and that you enjoy to share your knowledge.
