Good natured and experienced sailor here!

Ocean sailing experience includes month long sailing Pacific passage from Mexico to Hawaiian Island, and Caribbean to Portugal Atlantic passage. Off shore experience in the Alaska and Canadian coastal waters, the Carribean sea, and in the Atlantic Ocean near the Chesapeake Bay inlet to Newport, Rhode Island.

I have logged a number of hours crewing on small boats doing competitive racing on the Eastern seaboard, Great Lakes, San Francisco Bay and Pacific Northwest inland lakes. Have experience with bare boat charters in the Virgin Islands and Chesapeake Bay and assisted charters in San Juan Islands of Washington State.

My small boat racing has given me fairly good boat handling skills, with experience on boats as large as 70 feet. Willing to do my share of watch hours, offer good culinary skills, pleasant conversation and know when to just be quiet too!
