Hi sailors!
A little about me: My name is Gaston, I'm from Argentina, 39 years old and I've just arrived in the Caribbean after more than two years sailing since I left my country, cruising the whole coast of Uruguay and Brazil.
All this time, with my friendly dog Ancla (in Spanish means anchor ⚓)
Before that, I worked as engineer in automotive industry, sailing as hobby in my free time.
I started sailing 13 years ago with my 20ft, then I bought a 24th for longer passages and spending more time living onboard on holidays.
But I wanted a different kind of life. So I sold everything, refit my 34 feet boat and started the adventure!
Future plans? No plans.
Probably stay in the Caribbean (West Indies) for a year or so. Then will see.
I almost don't have savings, i don't have any income. But this years I've been doing different things, usually related to boats, to get the money to live simple. Less is more!
When I sail with crew, I usually share expenses and ask a contribution for boat maintenance.
If you want to learn basics of sailing, or get ocean experience, or just enjoy sailing, a barbecue and snorkeling in beautiful places, just get in touch and let's plan and adventure together!
