Dear Shipmates

Introduction

We sail because we love the oceans and the ability to set our sails to cruise to those remote unpopulated areas to explore and enjoy. Very basically the present plan is to set sail from Cape Town across the South Atlantic to Brazil thereafter passing through the Caribbean, Panama Canal and cruise the South Pacific before heading to Indonesia. We have sailed in excess of 34000 nautical miles with this boat which is comfortable and still in pristine condition. All onboard expenses are covered.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

The yacht is well maintained and complies to a high standard of safety. I continuously upgrade and replace equipment to ensure the integrity of the navigation equipment and electronics, safety equipment, sailing gear, mechanical equipment etc. We do a substantial amount of fishing, practicing sustainable catch and release keeping only what we can eat fresh.

What is expected of the crew

We work as a team where everyone is expected to do their part, but obviously certain tasks are preferred by different crew members which is a natural evolution so we mould the responsibilities accordingly but the objective is to enjoy every day and every experience. Responsible watch keeping is critically important.
