Hey fellows, I am Jan and 29 years old. I bought a beautiful Fountain Pajot Belize 43 in Dec 23.
Right now, I would say I am an intermediate sailor. I am looking forward to getting better every day and open to learn also from others. If you want to join me, I am happy to teach you all I know. But keep in mind, things will may not all work flawlessly. I will always do my best to keep the crew and the vessel safe!

The boat is in great condition and well equipped with safety features (solar, water maker, generator, lot of tools, life jackets with AIS, life raft, AIS, radar, dinghy and a lot more stuff). The boat had a big refitting in 2022/2023. The technical equipment, sails, ropes and rollers are all new. But still keep in mind the boat is from 2002, so there is always something to do :)
The boat has 4 double cabins and a small skipper cabin, so maybe you have to share a bed depending how many we are.

The plan is to sail around the world, so the location of the vessel will always change. We crossed the Atlantic in March and are now sailing south until Grenada and then west until the ABCs or Colombia.

I want to have a good time and have fun. People who want to join should be friendly, nice to each other, open, respectful, flexible. I am eating vegetarian, mostly vegan. It would be great if you are open to that to make cooking meals together easier but it is not a must. You should be ready to help me out and be part of the crew. You don't have to pay anything for your cabin or bunk, but we will share the costs of food, marina and fuel. I try to keep the costs low by sailing as much as possible and anchor instead of marinas. In return we expect some help on board - keeping the vessel and your cabin clean, help cooking, wash your used bedding, maybe assist by some repair works and being in a good mood :)
