Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hi, I'm Rob, a healthy 53 year old single fella, looking for healthy & bright women to share my boat & time with over the 2023–2024 summer and, this includes the Christmas & New Year holiday break -In Western Australia this is approximately a continuous fortnight available for Sailing & general holidaying, which will be at Rottnest Island.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortableusually single handedhave a holidayshare experiencevisit remote placesseek adventurefind a soulmate/partner

I've recently returned from sailing within Indonesia, mostly solo -not by choice, rather solo chose me. This is what happens when your friends are married, have kids, have jobs, have debts etc..
My preference is to share the boat & my time with others who are into boating, or just having fun which this will include plenty of.
I'm happy to teach you how to sail.
The intention is to do Wednesday evening 'twilight' sailing (this will be a freebie, just BYO booze if you'd like 1 or 2 drinks while were sailing), weekend day trips and, weekend overnight trips to Rottnest Island. The Rottnest trips will include swimming, freediving, fishing, kayaking, sunset drinks, cooking, dinner and card games. I will do the shopping for the food for meals aboard during the day trips & longer trips (hence the Aussie $25/day).

What is expected of the crew

clean & tidyfit & healthyfriendlyrespectfultrustworthyconfident swimmerrarely/unlikely seasickgood communicatoreager to learn & worksense of humorenjoy cookingdon't mind cleaning

If I contact you or, wave with a 'yes', it means that if you are going to be spending any time in Perth / Fremantle, then I would like to meet & sail with you. Yes, I realize that most people are presently a long way from Perth / Fremantle but the odds will improve as we get closer to summer here. Thanks !
