Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hey crew

Trent here, just in process of delivering a luxury 50ft monohull cruising sailing yacht from darwin to Indonesia and looking for crew who maybe interested to join. The yacht had just taken on a 3 year refit and has all new items and updated systems and is safe & comfy, she has proven herself as a great ocean going yacht.

A little about myself, Growing up on Water I naturally found my self surfing diving, sailing and always close to nature. spending most days in the ocean lead me towards a career in the marine industry and all round ocean lover.

As a Mariner and professional Captain / engineer of 20 + years I love being out at sea and very happy to teach crew along the way, although experience isn’t a necessity, it would be great to have people onboard that already have ocean/sea time and understand the fundamentals of being onboard out at sea, i.e safe watch keeping, use of onboard safety systems, basic understanding of sailing, meteorology / interpretation & understanding of basic weather forecasts etc..ultimately the more knowledgable crew are onboard makes it much safer, easier and more enjoyable on the entire crew and voyage.

I believe we never stop learning, I’m always happy to share my knowledge & skills with crew as we go.

Crew who can keep calm in tough situations, think clearly, have a good positive but balanced perspective in all situations, like to have a laugh and joke would be greatly appreciated and very valued Onboard.

We endeavour to depart Bali around feb give or take and head west toward Sumatra stopping only for fuel provisions, weather and rest if need be, ideally keep the yacht moving to arrive as soon as possible.

If you feel you’re up for a journey or part of please feel free to reach out, let me know a little about yourself/experience and what you envision towards a yacht delivery, happy to talk on the phone.

Thanks for your time looking forward to talk with some crew soon.

Kind Regards
