On April 13 At 19.00 the anchor of my yacht was up and I was from Bermuda underway to Horta in the Azores. This is third time I make this crossing west - east .The voyage of 1800 nautical mile went all oke. I gone explore the Azores till somewhere at the beginning of July. I have been in the Azores with my boat a few times and know the islands. After the Azores I will sail north to Ireland.

Who I am ? I am a long time live aboard . I bought the yacht at the end of 1991 and made many miles with her. I never owned a house or car only my boat who is my floating , move able house . I stayed 11 years in the south west Pacific. While there I also visited Australia including Tasmanie. The last few years I was on the east coast of the US , Nova Scotia and south coast of Newfoundland . In the winters I explored the Bahamas and this last winter a little part of the south Caribbean.

Skipper and boat :
The skipper is sailing as long he can remember and is at home on the ocean with his boat – a compass 34 build in 1977 - for the last 30 years. The skipper is build in 1960 and has saltwater running trough his body. In order to earn freedom chips I work sometimes as captain on cargo ships.

My boat is a good and strong boat and made her miles. I own her since 1991 and since then live aboard.
On board there is space for one female companion who has her own “ cabin “ forward.

Crew :
I am looking for a female sailing companion. Any experience is not necessary, I can learn you all there is regarding sailing the sea and this yacht is a good boat for it. Nearly all the work that has to be done on the boat I do myself and also this knowledge I am can pass on. The costs of living will be shared any other costs regarding the boat are for the skipper.
