Deckhand/stew position available on 80 foot Hatteras Motor Yacht located in Virgina Beach Va. This person must be a self-starter and highly motivated. During this summer, we will make take trips up north traveling throughout the Chesapeake Bay, we will also travel up North towards Martha's Vineyard, Rhode Island, etc. This position is available immediately for full-time employment.

As a stew/deckhand you are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the interior of the yacht, assisting to keep the outside clean, and assisting with docking. Your responsibility includes everything inside of the yacht. If you are Chef, that is a plus...

Responsibilities:

Interior cleaning, polishing, and maintaining interiors
Laundry
Making beds when needed
Keeping floors clean
Exterior deck set-up, cleaning, and take-down as available.
Set up water toys, including the tender as availability exist
Attend the bar from time to time when guests are on board
Other duties as assigned by the Owner or Captain
Qualifications include:

Line handling
Interior cleaning of the yacht
Working Conditions

Ability to work outdoors in an environment with various weather conditions such as heat and cold at times.
Ability to stand on your feet for longer periods of time
Must be comfortable working holidays, weekends and extended periods of time.
Accommodations for the person to live aboard yacht.
