Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Other than considering safety and health, life must be lived to the full, we must be challenged to know we are making the most of life. Enjoy simple living, fun, being immersed in nature and the freedom in setting a new course. Life is an adventure - or nothing.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortablevery safehave a holidayshare experienceseek adventurefulfill a dream

The boat is ready to go. I am a fit, healthy New Zealander with over 13,000 nm blue water experience, plus many years of coastal sailing. RYA coastal skipper, safety at sea certified and attended courses in first aid, health management and long distance radio.
I do enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places, preferably at anchor in a cove rather than a marina. Land trips to explore cultural interests are a great way to learn about a country. Being at sea, with a good wind under full sail is a pleasure that never fades. Planning to cruise the Med first, then across the Atlantic again to enjoy the Caribbean, then across the Pacific to New Zealand and Australia.

What is expected of the crew

Just need crew that is willing to learn, enjoys a challenge, does whatever is necessary on the boat and doesn’t lose it when the squall hits. Important to be easygoing, fun and adventurous. I’m happy to teach as we sail.
