Dear Shipmates

Introduction

I am sailing North, from New Zealand, for several months or longer. I am a relaxed sailor (some might call me conservative) and try to never take risks with the crew or my yacht. I and at least one other person aboard are Yachtmasters and we've made these crossings multiple times in the recent past. I am looking for two additional crew members who desire to make the crossing between NZ and Tonga on a big, beautiful ketch. Either females or males are welcome and contributions towards the trip are expected.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

My yacht is a beautiful boat kept in refit condition. She sails well and turns heads when ever we go into port. Depending on the weather window we will depart Nelson late May, sail up the West Coast of NZ's North Island and then to Whangarei for a haul out and antifoul. Afterwards we will set a course for Tonga. The Nelson to Whangarei leg will take 4 to 5 days. The leg from Whangarei to Tonga will take 5 to 7 days.

You're on a boat so no matter the size, you are with others all the time.. you must be flexible, open minded, respectful of others and adaptable.
